The iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus have just been released but Apple already has plans for the next iPhone 7. Customers are therefore wondering whether they should get the iPhone 6S now or should they wait for the iPhone 7 instead. To help people decide which one to get, here are the rumors about the upcoming iPhone 7.

The iPhone 7 is rumored to have no home button and an edge-to-edge display. Apple reportedly has five prototypes undergoing tests. The iPhone 7 could come with a built-in fingerprint recognition software on the screen. Apple reportedly filed a "sidewall display" patent which shows a wraparound screen. According to reports, the new Apple flagship phone not have a headphone jack. Instead, earphones will be connected via  the Lightning port.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 is speculated to have a dual rear camera which will introduce the optical zoom and replace the current digital zoom. It may also be improved from the 12 MP resolution on the iPhone 6S. There is talk of a 3D Touch feature, which will detect pressure and execute different commands. This feature may add new ways to navigate and more functionality on the upcoming iPhone 7. Sources claim that Apple has started testing for wireless charging on the iPhone 7, which is already on the Apple Watch. This used to be impossible because of the phone's aluminum body but Qualcomm already released a wireless charger which can work with metal.

Other iPhone 7 rumors include a waterproof exterior and a no-metal chassis, an AMOLED display instead of its traditional LCD and a USB Type-C connector.
