Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love both finished the game with double-double game productions, with 18 points and 15 rebounds for Thompson and 17 points and 10 boards for Love, who made a four-point play in the last 1:32 minutes of the game.

"The last half-dozen games I haven't shot the ball particularly well, so that was a big break for us," Love, who went 4 for 13 from the field but was 7 for 7 from the free throw line, said. "It was a big shot but I've done it in my career, shooting from the outside, so I'm not going to act like it's the biggest thing in the world. But it was a big shot for us tonight."

The Kings were leading at the end of the first half with six points 60-54, but the Cavaliers made a huge 35-24 run in the third period and took the lead 89-84 going into the final twelve minutes of the game.

In the fourth quarter, Cleveland managed to build a 9-point lead 109-100 courtesy of a driving layup by Irving with less than five minutes in the game. However, Sacramento made an 8-0 run that cut the deficit to just a point 109-108 with 2:58 to go.

Love was fouled by Cousins and made the two charity shots. He connected from beyond the arc and was fouled by Darren Collison for a bonus free throw. Love made the extra free shot and gave Cleveland a safe seven-point lead 115-108 with 92 seconds left to play.

DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 29 points and 11 rebounds.
