Reality show 'Pawn Stars' cast member Austin Russell has been arrested in Vegas for drugs and weapon charges.

Russell, 33, popularly known as Chumlee in the popular TV program on the History Channel, was taken into custody on Wednesday.

Russell was initially served a search warrant related to a sexual assault investigation being conducted against him. As his house was being searched, however, the police found marijuana, crystal methamphetamine, and an illegal firearm in his possession.

According to the Vegas Police, there is no clear indication if Russell has a lawyer to defend him. He is set to appear in court on May 23 to face the charges against him. His bail was set at $62,000 and until settled, he is being held in prison with 19 counts of drug charges and one count of firearm possession charge.

Russell has been an employee at the Gold and Silver Pawnshop for five years to date. He is a friend to Corey Harrison, son of Rick Harrison and grandson of Richard Benjamin Harrison, the businessman, who opened the shop in 1989. In Pawn Stars, Russell has shown expertise in video games, sneakers, and pin ball machines.

History Channel and A&E Network have sent their wishes to not comment regarding the issue. According to the Associated Press, a man from the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas answered their call but said that he had no information about the incident. Further calls, according to AP, were no longer answered.
