Fans and followers of R&B singer Ciara and NFL Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson are thrilled that the couple are finally engaged! Wilson and Ciara are ready to seal their vows in front of the altar after having dated for more than a year now. The two stars began dating early last year and decided to take their relationship further after a proposal Wilson made recently.

The proposal was made in Seychelles during the couple's getaway following the Paris Fashion Week. Ciara's representative gave some details of where and how the proposal transpired. In an interview with Entertainment Today, the rep mentioned how Ciara was shocked to have landed in the island off the East Africa's coast where the view was absolutely stunning.

The rep added that it surprised the singer when she found out they were staying at the exclusive resort North Island where Prince William and wife Kate Middleton had their honeymoon. It can be recalled that Ciara spoke of her possible engagement in an interview last December saying that everything was just about timing.

Happiness might be an understatement to describe the couple's feelings towards each other. On his Instagram account, Wilson posted a video of himself and Ciara showing off her overly-sized diamond ring.

Ciara, on the other hand, also posted a picture of her and Wilson showing the football player kneeling in front of her while kissing her hand. Ciara complemented her posted with the caption "I feel complete."

This is Ciara's second engagement following the one with rapper Future in 2013. The engagement was soon called off the following year. Future and Ciara share a son together, 1-year-old Future Zahir Wilburn.
