Strange Evidence May Prove That Ronda Rousey is Ready to Return to UFC Ring

UFC 193: Rousey v Hol

Following her loss to Holly Holm via a knock out in November last year, fourth degree Judo black-belter Ronda Rousey may be ready to let the UFC world know how stronger and more resilient she is now - all because she can chew apples again! This may sound a little strange for Rousey's fans, but the UFC champ used chewing apples as a yardstick to measure the state of her jaw's recovery after Holm's powerful kick that knocked her out.

Just a few days after her defeat to Holm, Rousey told Fox News that it may take 12 to 18 weeks before she can eat apples again, much less an impact from a punch or kick. Although this was meant as a funny anecdote, Rousey's remark was interpreted differently by people with some speculating that Rousey may have suffered more a broken jaw.

The speculation, however, was dismissed later on by UFC President Dana White, who explained that Rousey was referring to her lips with the remark, and not with her jaw. The former women's bantamweight champ might have been worried about her defeat to Holm in Australia, but apparently, she is once again ready to get back on her feet.

In a video posted online, the UFC star said that she has breaking news to announce. After arousing much curiosity, Rousey indicates that the breaking news actually is that she is able to bite and eat apples again. Conclusively, this means that whatever injury she suffered in her fight with Holm is absolutely gone and the champ is ready to the ring once again.

Rousey's fans are expecting their idol to have a match against new UFC champion Melissa Tate during in return on the ring. Many believe that she could still have a re-match with Holm in the very near future.
