Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO has officially announced a Rose Gold color variant for the F1 smartphone in Indian market for the price of Rs 15,990.

In terms of the device's specifications, the Oppo F1 smartphone features a 5-inch display screen with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution along with a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 protection along with a 294ppi. The handheld device is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. The handset comes with a built-in 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.

The Oppo F1 will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Color 2.1 launcher on top. With regards to the front camera, the smartphone is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a single LED flash. Its front shooter comes with an 8-megapixel camera with additional features such as live color filters, Beauty 3.0, and more. Lastly, the device is fueled with 2500mAh capacity battery on board.

Meanwhile, the company is also rumored to launch the OPPO R9 smartphone soon. The teaser image was put out on Weibo and shows off the smartphone's side, which seems to be made of metal. The R9 is said to feature a massive 6-inch display screen with QHD resolution.

Inside the rumored OPPO R9 smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC processor paired with 3GB/4GB (depending on the variant) of RAM. The device is said to have a 64 GB internal storage that is expandable. In terms of the camera, the R9 is expected to have a 21-megapixel sensor on the back and a 13-megapixel shooter in the front.

In addition, the device is said to be powered by a 3700 mAh capacity battery and equipped with the Super VOOC fast charging technology.
