The Chicago Bulls had been nothing but a disappointment in its first season under new head coach Fred Hoiberg and things are not looking bright about the team's future as well. Recent rumors have emerged that the Bulls are set to "rebuild from scratch" and that Jimmy Butler could be the first one to get out of the door.

Fansided reported, citing Yahoo Sports' Chris Mannix, that "chemistry issues continue to plague the Bulls' locker room", particularly between Butler and Hoiberg.

The 26-year-old wingman is said to be publicly complaining about Hoiberg's inability to "hold players accountable" on and off the court while the coach is allegedly irritated about Butler's "shoddy shot selection" that disconnects him from the team offensively.

The report continued that Chicago could be deciding to move forward "with Hoiberg over Butler" as franchise officials allegedly want to "rebuild from scratch".

There were also speculations earlier in the season that the All-Star shooting guard is not getting along well with franchise main man Derrick Rose and so trading him this summer is definitely not in the realm of the impossible for the Bulls.

SB Nation noted that if Chicago would indeed push through in trying to deal Butler, the Boston Celtics could be one of the best teams they can negotiate with.

Boston has actually offered a package involving reserve players and future picks for Butler during the last trade deadline, which the Bulls expectedly denied, and there is a huge possibility that the Celtics could again revive that negotiation this summer if the shooting guard become available.

Meanwhile, Butler reiterated that he is keen on staying with the Bulls for the long term, but admitted that it is out of his control if the team wants to trade him or not.

"That's why I'm here," said Butler, via ESPN. "I don't plan on going anywhere. I can't control what everybody else does. I know that this is the city that I love, Chicago. And I want to wear that jersey. I want to wear that name on the front, and I wear it proudly. All I got to do is continue to control what I can control. That's try to help this team win games."
