The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story star John Travolta says he does not interfere with his daughter Ella's dating life, although he admits that he is sometimes curious about how it is going. The 62-year-old actor saved his daughter from answering Ellen DeGeneres' dating-related questions as he sat down with DeGeneres on her show on Tuesday. His daughter was in the audience with her mom, Travolta's wife of 25 years, actress-model Kelly Preston.

Travolta said he is aware of her daughter's friendship with two guys she often hangs out with. He added that although he has noticed the friendship, he has never asked anything about "what they say or do to each other."

Preston, on the other hand, seems to have spilled the beans saying that is aware of everything, to which Ella replied with certainty that there is nothing to be worried about by her parents as she has not been dating anyone. The audience laughed and was quick to catch the humor in Travolta's reply as he said, "Good, let's keep it that way."

The fun did not end with the father-daughter banters, though. When DeGeneres found out that Travolta's 16-year-old brunette daughter is trying to get a hold of her driver's license, she invited Ella and her father to do a test drive via parallel parking outside of the studio. The young lady sat in front while DeGeneres and Travolta sat in the back seat.

The first few moments of Ella's driving was shaky and so Ellen decided to go down and referred to the moment as a "life-saving measure." The audience was laughing all the time. Ella successfully parked the car and Travolta was a father beaming with so much pride.
