Caught Offside noted that the 46-year-old former Italy national team manager is "a huge fan of Juventus superstar Paul Pogba" as he was the one who bought the France international from Manchester United in 2012 and who also guided and developed him to become one of the best two-way football players in Europe today.

The report continued that "now that Conte "has a new home at Chelsea, he's ready for a reunion with his former Golden Boy and could very well take a hatchet to the Blues' roster to make the move happen".

Metro indicated that Conte "is prepared to lose Oscar, Obi Mikel and Willian in order to raise the necessary £80 million needed to bring in Juventus superstar Pogba," which is said to be his top transfer priority before the start of the next season.

Pogba played under Conte in Juve from 2012 up until the coach resigned as manager in July of 2014 before the 2014-2015 season started to coach the Italian national football squad.

In four years with La Vecchia Signora, the 6-foot-3 Lagny-sur-Marne, France native had appeared in a total of 171 games, scoring 32 times in the process mainly as a defensive midfielder and also playmaker at times. He is considered by football pundits as a player comfortable at playing both in attack and defense because of his uncanny combination of size, speed, and strength.

Pogba's former team Manchester United is said to be also interested in acquiring him this summer as well as top English Premier League side Arsenal FC.

Meanwhile, Conte is reportedly interested in also snagging Roma's Radja Nainggolan and Miralem Pjanić plus Juve's Leonardo Bonucci this summer.
