Beyoncé’s Dad Claims Singer’s “Troubled” Marriage with Jay-Z, Solange Elevator Fight Were “A Jedi Mind Trick”

Beyoncé Knowles' father, Matthew Knowles, has opened up about rumors regarding his famous family, claiming that these have all been a "Jedi mind trick."

Beyoncé  Knowles' father, Matthew Knowles, has recently opened up about rumors that have surfaced over the past months regarding his famous family.

Last Thursday, the Knowles' main man told "The Roula and Ryan Show" on Houston's 104.1 that such rumors have been sparked up because of his daughter and son-in-law's upcoming tour, referring to the past circumstances as illusions, particularly a Jedi mind trick.

"I know, from experience, because we've done this, there's a tour going on," Knowles said, referring to Beyoncé  and Jay-Z's "On the Run" tour. "So you have to sometimes ignite that tour-it's called a Jedi mind trick! The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot of time. So things you see sometimes are [poof noise]."

At the 2014 MTV VMAs, it did seem that Blue Ivy Carter's folks laid the rumors to rest last Monday.

When asked about his other daughter Solange and her elevator fight with brother-in-law Jay-Z, particularly if the celebs had known whether the incident was being recorded and "wanted it to get out there", Knowles mentioned the role of illusion once again.

"All I know is the Jedi mind trick," the record producer claimed. "Everybody's talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange's album sales went up 200 percent."

After the video of Solange kicking at Jay-Z in a Standard Hotel elevator was released, speculations went viral that the rapper mogul cheated on Beyoncé and that their marriage was in deep trouble. The rumors are still in circulation, even months after the incident happened and the "On The Run" tour began last June.

Knowles also called attention to the fact that he remains to be Destiny's Child's manager. The music executive also managed Beyoncé's career from the late 90's until 2011, when they made the mutual decision to part ways.

"I don't know-there might be another Destiny's Child album coming," Knowles hinted. "There might be this tour that makes history that features Destiny's Child featuring Beyoncé, Kelly [Rowland], and Michelle [Williams]. Can you imagine what that would be like?"
