Last August, Thor was convicted of engaging in lewd conduct with a minor after Jordyn Ladell, one of the students who attended his coaching classes, filed a complaint against Thor claiming that he repeatedly raped her in 2009. She was 13 at the time.

Hescovitz stated that the 56-year-old actor had "taken advantage" of Ladell's vulnerability and that his actions showed signs of a great deal of planning and preparation.

"I don't want to talk about how what did Cameron impacted me, reliving that horror over and over,"Ladell said while giving an emotional Victim's Impact Statement about how the assault affected her and her family. "Cameron raped me and no one could stop him," she added asking the judge to give Thor the maximum sentence.

Thor had small but prominent roles in many other films, including A Few Good Men, Clear And Present Danger, Hook, Cheers and Star Trek: The Next Generation. He was better known for being an acting coach and the likes of Cameron Diaz, Helen Hunt, Drew Carey, Faye Dunaway, Courteney Cox and Madonna have been students at his studio.
