The biggest topic circulating through multiple social media outlets about Grand Theft Auto V is whether Rockstar will be implanting the Heist or Casino DLC for the next 1.17 update in GTA Online coming this month.

There's a lot of unrest among GTA enthusiasts who feel the game is dying, claiming Rockstar will have to release a huge DLC like Heists or the Casino in order to revive it.

Exactly two weeks from today will mark as one full year since GTA has been released. The gaming experience is not going to feel the same way as when the user first completed a mission or when the user bought its first Bugatti. There's only so much one can do in a whole year's time.

Because of this, many gamers including YouTube's reliable DomisLive are speculating Rockstar to finally release either the Heists or Casino DLC in the next 1.17 update as a "one-year anniversary gift" to GTA fans.

All the DLCs that have been released by Rockstar were updates that required purchasing items like new cars, weapons, or aircraft. However, DomisLive believes Rockstar will begin pumping out anticipated updates that actually improve the game beginning with the 1.17 update.

Of course this is only speculation, but it's worth noting Rockstar recently leaked a photo of a thermite bomb, which could be seen in the game under the Weapons menu.

The thermite bomb has been rumored to be released with the Heists DLC, considering thermite bombs would be perfect for blowing doors off safes or holes in walls in Heists missions. Why would Rockstar leak the image of the thermite bomb if they were not planning to release the Heists DLC soon?

Rockstar typically release their updates on a Tuesday, so be on the lookout this month. Hopefully they're not too busy with the release of GTA on next-gen consoles, and will be able to release some sort of big DLC that changes the online gaming experience sooner rather than later.
