Constatino informed Kelly a week after the latter's series of biopsies at the hospital. The results further confirmed an initial physical exam conducted two weeks earlier.

According to Kelly, this update was one of the greatest news he's ever gotten. He also expressed his gratitude to the people who supported him through a message posted on his wife's Instagram account.

''I don't even know what to do with myself. I'm so overwhelmed. I'm so thankful,'' said Kelly. ''I want to literally hug and thank all of you in person.''

''Dr. Costantino said it was nothing short of a miracle, because he wasn't sure when he went in what was going to come out. This is some of the greatest news I've ever gotten," added Kelly.

The quarterback's fight with cancer started in June 2013 when he had to undergo surgery in order to remove cancerous cells in this lower jaw. However, it was revealed that the cancer continued to spread on his sinus in March.

According to Kelly, he is yet to be fully recovered from his battle with cancer. He further added that he has a lot to be grateful for.

Kelly was very open to the public with regards to his battle with the said illness. As a result, he attracted thousands of supporters in social media.

Fans and supporters of Kelly voiced their love for the hall of famer by creating the catch phrases and Twitter hashtags "Kelly Tough and Prayers for JK."

Kelly and former teammate, Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas, attended the Bills' practice session earlier in the day.
