The 12th match of Copa America Centenario 2016 soccer championship will be played between Ecuador and Peru at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ on Wednesday. Haiti faces Brazil in another Group B match on Wednesday.

Ecuador played out a goalless draw against heavy weight Brazil in their opening Copa America game last week. The team was robbed of a sensational victory against Brazil after the referee disallowed a goal. Brazilian midfielder Renato Augusto praised Ecuador for their sensational performance.

"Ecuador played very well tactically. They neutralized our strong points, they are a good team. The important thing now is to win the next two games and go through to the next round on a high," he said.

Peru, on the other hand, began their Copa America 2016 campaign with a 1-0 win against Group B bottom dweller Haiti. They are now placed at top of Group B and aim to take control of group when they take on inspired Ecuador at University of Phoenix stadium.
