A recent listing on the Amazon Germany website has provoked a surge of excitement among "Batman" game enthusiasts. The listing has included a game of the year edition of the "Batman: Arkham Knight" PlayStation game.

Fans are speculating about the official release of the game of the year edition based on the details that are provided on the Amazon website. According to the Amazon listing, the product will be available on July 28 and can be purchased for only 49.99 Euros or around $55.

Despite of the specific details of the Amazon listing, the exact release date of the "Batman: Arkham Knight - Game of the Year" edition is still uncertain and remains to be just a rumor. Official statements could come only from the game developer, and until now, no such statement is issued.

According to Ecumenical News, the German product description also states that the game will be bundled together with all of the previously released DLC packs, while the exact features to be included, whether familiar or new, are still uncertain

Another notable detail about the product description in the Amazon Germany listing is the two gaming console platforms it included, namely PS4 and Xbox One. The PC is excluded as a platform but the reason behind this is still unclear.

The release of the "Batman: Arkham Knight" in 2015 included the PS4, Xbox One and PC as gaming platforms. It is possible that the listing is still incomplete, considering that the game developer is yet to issue an official statement about the "Game of the Year" edition.

As what was noted by GameSpot, the game developer, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, has not yet made any public statement about the game. Hence, the product description of the spotted listing is still something that should not be believed with high confidence.

It is also notable that the two previous Rocksteady games, Arkham games Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, each earned the distinctions of being Game of the Year.
