Before You Judge Me is "a taut novelistic rendering of the final months in the life of one of the most iconic figures in modern popular culture, Michael Jackson."

The book thoroughly scrutinizes every scandal the late singer-songwriter went through.

It also tackles Michael Jackson's continuous search for privacy and the pressures he faced being "someone whose fame made him socially fragile and almost unable to live."

However, the new series, which is now in development at Warner Brothers TV, has not yet been obtained by any TV network.

The show about Michael Jackson's final days will be produced by J.J. Abrams and Tavis Smiley, along with Stephenson and David Brewington,

The 50-year-old hitmaker died on June 25, 2009, after suffering from cardiac arrest.

His death was controversial, as Dr. Conrad Murray was condemned with involuntary manslaughter for administering his patient a high dose of propofol.

Michael Jackson's immediate family filed a lawsuit against AEG, the entertainment company that staged MJ's comeback tour, for hiring Murray.

Allegedly, AEG let Murray "push the entertainer to perform despite his frail health," the Los Angeles Times reported. Howeverk, AEG wa found not guilty.

Before You Judge Me: The Triumph and Tragedy of Michael Jackson's Last Days hit bookstores yesterday.
