Reeling contenders Hebei China Fortune FC (9-4-3, 30 points) will look to snap their two-game losing skid as they host middling team Guangzhou R&F FC (5-7-4, 19 points) in a 2016 Chinese Super League game at their home field of Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center Stadium on July 10, Sunday.

Hebei China Fortune is currently on a two-game losing slide which dropped them to the third spot of the league table. The team had been winless in three of their last four matches, which is uncharacteristic for head coach Li Tie's squad this term.

The Samba Kings were consistently at the top two spots of the overall standings for the first 12 weeks of first division domestic competitions until they found themselves in a rut beginning round 13.

In their last game on Sunday, Hebei was romped by powerhouse squad Shanghai SIPG FC, 0-2, also at their home ground in Qinhuangdao as they failed to find the back of the net for the second consecutive game, Shanghai Daily reported.

Elkeson and Wu Lei netted a goal each for the Massive as Gervinho and company could not respond throughout the match.

Meanwhile, Guangzhou R&F snapped a three-game winless spell via a high-scoring 4-2 win over Shijiazhuang Ever Bright FC at their home ground of Yuexiushan Stadium last Saturday, as per Xinhuanet.

Renatinho opened the scoring for the Blue Lions at the 39th before Jean-Philippe Mendy equalized it for the visitors at the 53rd.

Three straight goals from manager Dragan Stojkovic's side at the 76th, 84th, and 90th minutes put them in front, 4-1, as the full time whistle was blown. Ever Bright's Jiang Jihong scored one in stoppage time to make the final score 4-2.

The Samba Kings are still without the injured Ezequiel Lavezzi, but Gervinho and Gael Kakuta will have enough firepower against Guangzhou to finally put a stop to their losing skid.

The predicted result is a 2-0 victory for Hebei China Fortune.
