China Mobile claims it has shipped more than 580 million devices that support the 4G network. In terms of network speed, the company said that it has already deployed its conditional access technology to more than 300 cities in China, according to China Tech News.

Sha also shed light on China Mobile's development roadmap for the rest of the year. China Mobile will continue to push its 4G+ networks and will concentrate on the full commercial application of its VoLTE technology. This is to ensure that all of its customers, including enterprises, will have access to high-quality mobile and wireless technology.

China Mobile also expressed its intention to broaden the 4G+ experience in the country by convincing industry partners to provide additional support for VoLTE devices.

China Mobile, along with its regional subsidiary Shanghai Mobile, is working alongside Nokia to implement VoLTE services in China.

In a statement acquired by RCR Wireless, Nokia head of mobile networks said, "In future, the Nokia AVA platform will enable us to replicate this with other operators across the globe to ensure the fast roll out of commercial VoLTE services."
