In this article, we will review the specs and features of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and its competitor, the Meizu M3 Note. The two smartphones share similar pricing and specs.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Meizu M3 Note both come in two models: one version with 16 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of RAM, and another with 32 GB storage and 3 GB of RAM. Both handsets come with microSD card support.

The Redmi Note 3 and M3 Note both have a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, a phase detection autofocus, and dual-tone LED flash on its rear camera, 5 MP of front camera and 802.11ac WiFi. However, both devices do not have NFC support. However, Indian Express mentions that the Note 3 has an infrared transmitter for TV and an FM radio.

The M3 Note comes with a touch-based fingerprint sensor based on its mTouch 2.1 technology while the Redmi Note 3 comes with a touch-based sensor on its rear. However, the M3 Note's sensor is reportedly more reliable.

According to NDTV, the M3 Note features the MediaTek Helio P10, an octa-core CPU with a power-saving cluster of cores which gives a performance advantage. It comes with an ARM Mali-T860MP2 GPU while the Note 3 sports a Qualcomm Adreno 510. Both devices come with an integrated baseband processor and support for Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS).
