Lowly team Hangzhou Greentown FC (6-11-4, 22 points) will take on reeling contenders Henan Jianye FC (8-9-4 28 points) at their home ground of Yellow Dragon Sports Center on Saturday, August 13 as the final stretch of the 2016 Chinese Super League season gets underway.

Hangzhou is currently at the 13th spot of the 16-team China top flight table after inconsistent performances throughout the season. They are three points above the bottom two relegation zone and is at risk of getting demoted to the China League One with nine games left in their campaign this term.

In their most recent game, the Green Giants were defeated by capital city squad Beijing Guoan FC, 0-1, on July 29 at the Workers' Stadium to drop their 11th match of the season, as per Xinhuanet.

Beijing midfielder Zhang Xizhe scored the winning goal of the contest at the 84th minute off a pass from striker Yu Dabao to give head coach Hong Myung-bo's side its third winless performance in their last four games.

Meanwhile, Henan Jianye is also on a downward spiral, losing four of their last five assignments to drop them to ninth place in the overall standings from being in the no. 5 position at the end of the first half of the season.

The Red Devils are coming off a sorry 1-2 loss to defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao FC on July 30 at their home field of Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium to drop their second straight game, Shanghai Daily reported.
