Chinese smartphone manufacturer Cubot is gearing to release its newest flagship device, the Cubot Z100 Pro. The new device is a follow up to the Cubot Z100 which was released in March. Just like its predecessor, the Cubot Z100 Pro combines a decent set of specs with a very affordable price tag.

The Cubot Z100 Pro will sport a plastic and metal combination for its chassis, along with a 3D texture on its back. The new device will retain the 5-inch display of its predecessor, also with HD resolution.

Powering the Z100 Pro is the same chipset as the original Z100, the MediaTek MT6735P with a quad-core processor. The storage space will remain at 16GB which can be expanded up to 128GB. On the other hand, Cubot made some an interesting upgrade on the phone's memory. Unlike the original Z100 which only has a 1GB of RAM, the Z100 Pro sports 3GB of RAM.

While most flagship devices from other companies are starting to shift to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Cubot Z100 Pro will run on the older Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, Giz China reported.

The Cubot Z100 Pro will have a 13-megapxiel rear camera with autofocus, 4P lens, f/2.0 aperture, and a 0.5A LED flash. The camera is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. The Z100 Pro also has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfie shots.

Powering the Cubot Z100 Pro is a 2450mAh battery pack, according to Phone Radar. The phone supports dual-SIM setup and 4G network. Cubot is yet to reveal the official price of the Z100 Pro, but there are speculations that it would be below $100.
