Chinese Leaders Attend Nanjing Massacre Memorial

Chinese President Xi Jinping led a high-powered delegation of national leaders Saturday at a moving ceremony honoring the deaths of tens of thousands of Chinese citizens in the December 1937 Nanjing massacre.

China has a major health crisis with 365 million smokers, but one state-run Chinese company doesn't mind that number at all. The China National Tobacco Corp. has a monopoly in the China market enabling it to produce more than one-third of the world's cigarettes including more than 40 percent of all tobacco sold worldwide.

Putin's Siberian Tiger Returns To Russia

Oblivious to sticky international borders, Kuzya, the Siberian Tiger that was rescued as a cub by Russian President Vladimir Putin, apparently has returned from China to Russia's far east. Kuzya created a bit of an international incident when he wandered cross the Sino-Russian border two months ago, swimming across the Amur River into China. Conservationists expressed concern that the tiger would become poacher prey.
