‘Mad Max’ director George Miller has revealed the reason why he didn’t choose Mel Gibson to play the hero in the movie franchise, stating that it wasn’t about the actor’s scandal, but merely because he was too old for the role.

Oscar-nominee James Garner, best known for his roles in "Maverick", "Rockford Files" and "Murphy's Romance", died in his home at Brentwood, Los Angeles on Saturday. He was said to have died of natural causes. He was 86.
