Zoe Saldana's role as African-American singer-activist Nina Simone in an upcoming biography film has received its initial bunch of disapproval from the public and from Simone's family as well. This is following Hollywood's outcry of racial diversity among movie stars who have much lighter skin than the characters they portray.
