As the December 15 trading period draws near, recent rumors have emerged that the Los Angeles Lakers are interested in dealing for Minnesota’s Shabazz Muhammad, but the Timberwolves are reportedly unwilling to part ways with their young wing man despite the team’s depth at the no. 2 and 3 spots.

NBA rookie of the year Andrew Wiggins is relieved that he would not have to shoulder such a heavy load next season with the inclusion of fellow No. 1 overall draft pick Karl-Anthony Towns. The 6-foot-8,199 pound Wiggins averaging 16.9 points and 4.6 rebounds in 36.2 minutes per game last season and is excited to see the team get additional firepower.
