Right after Liu Xiang arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, he was surrounded by media immediately. When being interviewed, Liu Xiang said: "I feel a little uneasy when setting foot on my homeland after a long-time farewell. It has been almost one year since I left. I'm a little excited and nervous." He expressed his confidence on coming back to his beloved sports field, saying "I have faith in myself all the time."

October 4th last year, Liu Xiang left China to the United States for professional rehabilitation training. In Minnesota Rehabilitation Center, an American famous trainer accompanied Liu Xiang during his whole rehabilitation training. At first, Liu Xiang had to walk on crutches due to his injury. Step-by-step, he abandoned the annoying crutches and could even jog for a while in the street. Later, Liu Xiang was capable of conducting a high-intensity physical training. After 11 months, now, Liu Xiang is back. And he is willing to try the competitive hurdling again.

Whether Liu Xiang can return the sports field again? According to latest news, so far, his injured right ankle is capable of various movements. But whether his ankle can withstand a large amount of exercise remains to be seen. One thing is certain that Liu Xiang still need more physical training as a guarantee for the recovery of his right ankle. Can Liu Xiang spark again in sports field? Let's look forward to his next match.
