LaMarcus Aldridge Rallies Spurs in Win Against Bulls

Anchored by an impressive performance from LaMarcus Aldridge, the San Antonio Spurs won the Christmas matchup against the Chicago Bulls in a blowout fashion, 119-100.

Aldridge had a near perfect night shooting 15-of-20, finding the rim on his first 11 field goals, according to SB Nation. Aldridge finished the game with 33 points, nine rebounds, and an assist.

The Spurs had a comfortable lead early in the first two quarters of the game, but the Bulls rallied to cut the deficit and even managed to lead some time on the third quarter. At this point, the Spurs returned to the basic dynamics of the game and showed an impressive team chemistry closing the game with 30 assists on 48 made field goals.

The Spurs' teamwork was on a completely different level with the team assisting on the first 19 field goals. The team also shot 56.5 percent on the floor and 50 percent from the three-point territory.

The Bulls' offense was not just clicking with Robin Lopez playing just 19 minutes, closing the game with 10 points and four rebounds. Jimmy Butler was also off with just 19 points on 19 field goal attempts. The only redeeming factor to the Bulls' offense was Dwayne Wade's 24 points, three rebounds, and six assists.

On top of Aldridge's player of the game performance, Kawhi Leonard scored a double-double with 25 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, and a block. According to NBA.com, Leonard shot 50 percent on the floor, 60 percent on the three-point territory, and a perfect 8-of-8 on the charity line.

Pau Gasol had 12 points and seven rebounds. Tony Parker had 13 points, three rebounds, and 10 assists. Danny Green had six points, three rebounds, three assists, and a steal.
