British model Cara Delevingne Casted as Margo for "Paper Town", Twitterverse Explodes

As John Green tweeted on Wednesday that they have finally found the perfect woman to play the character of Margo Roth Spiegelman in a tweet, fans of the book "Paper Towns", which will be made into a movie, might not be as happy as he is.

He tweeted: "Cara Delevigne's audition blew everyone away (including me!) and she understands Margo profoundly. I am so excited!"

The British model, Cara, also tweeted about it saying she was thankful for being chosen and she was so excited.

However, most of the comments on Twitter showed how upset they were that the 22-year-old got the part. The fans were basically not happy with the casting because in the book, the physical attribute of Margo did not match that of Cara's.

The tweets have been trending overnight and here are some of the opinions expressed:

A certain Persia Jensen tweeted: "No I'm really curious like why is Cara the super model playing Margo when her character is curvy. #bye #badcasting"

Another Twitter user named Lilly tweeted that she was disappointed because she thought that whoever will be playing the role of Margo should have been an actual teenager since that was the character in the said book.

Also, Michelle who goes by the name of Dancing Queen, questioned the casting because Margo was supposed to be short and curvy not tall, skinny and perfect.

Anyway, Cara is much famous in the world of modeling but she also did some acting before. She was in the movie "Anna Karenina" back in 2012 and has appeared in nine other movies as well. She will also be appearing in the 2015 movie "Pan".

The movie "Paper Towns" is to be directed by Jake Shcreier and will be hitting the theatres next year of July 31. The producers will be the same team from those who made "The Fault In Our Stars".
