British singer Rod Stewart once performed at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas and he was just doing his thing, kicking signed balls to the audience. However, one particular ball hit a certain Mostafa Kashe and he claims that he was injured as the ball broke his nose.

Stewart is a football fanatic and he loves imparting his interests to the audience. But his passion caused a lawsuit to be filed against him. Kashe said that the ball came his way and that he suffered from a "lasting pain". Kashe is now asking for thousands of dollars for the damages that the 69-year-old star has caused him.

According to the lawsuit, Stewart was "negligent, careless, and/or reckless" during his October 2012 concert in the said venue. Kashe noted that the kicking was with sufficient force for anyone to be injured when hit in the face.

Kashe noted that the accident caused him "sustained injuries to his that has required and is still requiring medical attention" since he suffered from a nasal cavity fracture. Also, the injury will continue to cause Kashe both physical and mental pain. It was also noted that Kashe is undergoing cosmetic damages that amounted to a total of US$10,000.

However, Stewart's fans have been really after the signed balls as it even goes up to auction sites and can be sold for as much as US$650.

When the accident happened, Kashe and his wife were on a holiday in Las Vegas and that's when they attended the performance of the singer.

Stewart is a die-hard fan of the sport that he even tried to be in the field as his career. However, it did not go so well for him that he decided to bank on his musical talents and abilities.
