Good-bye David Lucado, cheating ex-boyfriend Britney Spears. Hello, new "it's not serious, but ..." boyfriend Charlie Ebersol, a reality TV producer and TV scion who signed a confidentiality agreement before meeting the iconic pop star.

Pop star icon Britney Spears, 32, has apparently met her match in the form of Ebersol. He is the 31-year-old son of veteran TV producer, sports media legend and SNL co-creator Dick Ebersol, and former TV actress Susan St. James.

The newly revealed couple met through Jamie Spears, Britney's dad. However, before they were allowed to interact Spears' dad insisted Ebersol sign a confidentiality agreement. Just standard operating procedure with the publicity magnet singer, according to dad and friends. "Charlie had to pass the dad test," a family friend told the Daily Mail.

Getting dad's approval is key, but fans can't forget he was the one who lined up his daughter with the cheating heart Lucado. Lucado lasted 18 months. Pre-Lucado, Britney's big brother Bryan Spears introduced her to Jason Trawick. That relationship lasted more than two years.

Ebersol signed on the dotted line and lunched with Spears. Considering his family background, he was comfortable with the scenario. In fact, he hasn't commented at all about the relationship.

Sources say the two are dating, but not "serious yet." Reports from the Spears entourage is that it's all systems go for the two as Ebersol has proven a popular match with Spears buddies. In case he falls by the wayside, the pre-date confidentiality agreement has some serious penalties for its violation.

The new Spears boyfriend train left the station last month when she signed a two-year, $30 million contract to perform 96 concerts at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. She confirmed the addition of a new man in her life.

That admission set loose lips wagging and was followed by a Spears tweet that she was in a new relationship. "Yes, there is a special someone," she told TV tabloid media last week. "It's very new."

More heat was added to the dating fuel through an Instagram photo Spears posted Saturday night showing her and Ebersol smiling cheek-to-cheek together. She followed that up with a Sunday posting of a photograph of her and Ebersol at a park.

Ebersol comes from A-list parents and hangs out with fellow A-list types, including Ryan Gosling and Ashton Kutcher. Jamie Spears scouted him from afar before matching the two for a "it's just lunch" experience, according to sources. "Britney functions best with a man in her life, and Jamie knows that," a friend told the Daily Mail.
