Bill Cosby finally found someone to defend him - other than himself and his lawyer.

The comedian's nephew stepped up to refute accusations of sexual assault that have been piing up against his uncle for weeks now.

Braxton Cosby said that his 77-year-old uncle "is innocent" amid the "unjustified claims" made against him, People can reveal.

The younger Cosby heads Cosby Media Productions.

In an interview with FarrahGray.com the younger Cosby pointed out that no official complaint has yet been filed against his uncle and unless "the judicial system can prove otherwise, I stand behind him and his contributions."

He added "I would be more inclined to compare it to the passage in the Bible where the people of the village were about to stone the woman caught in adultery and Jesus challenged them by saying that the person who is without sin should cast the first stone."

Braxton's remarks also seemed to mean that the "attacks" made against the older Cosby were also considered as an attempt to destroy the kind of "uplifting" and "inspirational" content that Cosby Media produces.

Cosby Media's website says that it aims to produce content "that will entertain the mind and inspire the soul, from books, TV, film and music."

In the interview with Farrahgay.com, Cosby said that his production company aims to offer audiences with the content that spreads positivity.

"I feel that the goal here was to destroy the attempts to instill that type of entertainment going into the next year. Thankfully, it will not succeed," he said.

But Braxton's defenses for his uncle seemed fruitless as two more venues in Washington and Connecticut seemed to have already cancelled the comedian's appearances after a barrage of women exposed his sexual advances against them.

Cosby' still remained mum about the issue, while his lawyer has labeled such claims as "fantastical."
