The college football team Wisconsin Badgers is currently looking to hire a new coach since the unexpected move of their current head coach Gary Andersen, for Oregon State.

The Director of Athletics and the current head football coach in Wisconsin Barry Alvarez said on Wednesday that he makes sure to keep a short list of possible coaches who could replace a position in case something like this happens. Although he did not say who those are, here are the top three potential candidates who could be up for the job:

Paul Chryst has already been considered for the position a couple of years ago but during that time, he already landed another coaching job a year earlier for the Pitt with the help of Alvarez. Thus, he did not feel comfortable taking the job when it was offered to him. But when it comes to having a good record in scores, he definitely has a huge chance this time.

Dave Aranda already has a background on how the game runs with the Badgers since he was their defensive coordinator for the last two seasons. During his supervision of that department, the team's defenses were sighted to be strong. Although he could be a potential for this job, Alvarez said he would like to have someone who already has an experience being a head coach and Aranda does not have it. But him being familiar with the program is still a factor.  

Pat Narduzzi is a Michigan State defensive coordinator and everybody is saying he is ready to be a head coach. He knows the ins and outs of the game, but the only problem here is that he has no hands-on experience in becoming a head coach like Aranda.

Hopefully, before the week ends the Wisconsin Badgers would already find a replacement for their coach.
