There is always room for every character in J.K. Rowling's world and in Hogwarts, Jews are definitely more than welcome... at least for one Jewish wizard by the name of Anthony Goldstein.

In a Twitter question-and-answer session Tuesday, Ben Roffman, definitely a Rowling fan, tweeted that his wife teased him saying Jews do not exist in Hogwarts, thus, telling Roffman that she was the only one in the family who had the right to be "magical."

"@jk_rowling my wife said there are no Jews at Hogwarts. I'm a Jew so I assume she said it to be the only magical 1 in the family. Thoughts?" Roffman tweeted.

But Rowling revived Rofman's hope when she tweeted back that there's actually one!

"Anthony Goldstein, Ravenclaw, Jewish wizard," she replied.

According to the Harry Potter Wiki, Goldstein was Harry Potter's classmate who joined him with fighting in Dumbledore's Army.

Goldstein first appeared in the fifth novel Order Of The Phoenix.

Goldstein is also one of the six members of Dumbledore's Army who ensured Harry's safety when Draco Malfoy attempted to curse him on the Hogwarts Express.

Goldstein also appeared, though briefly, in the last Potter book, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, joining Harry and the rest of the wizards at the epic Battle Of Hogwarts.

The wizardy school is actually home to a variety of religious affiliations.

Rowling tweeted:

"To everyone asking whether their religion/belief/non-belief system is represented at Hogwarts: the only people I never imagined there are Wiccans."
