Best Android Phones with Snapdragon 615 from Samsung, HTC, Vivo and Oppo

(Photo : Reuters) Samsung has not given any specific dates for Android 5.0 Lollipop rollout, but it looks like the Galaxy S5 will be first to get the update in December.

The year 2015 will welcome a lot of smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 615 processor from various OEMs before they release their flagship phones.

The 64-bit handsets include the HTC Desire 820, Samsung Galxy A7, Vivo X5 Max and Oppo R5. These handsets feature high-end specs but theu all still fall under the upper mid-range category with budget-friendly prices.

The 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor uses an octa-core 64-bit CPU with category 4 4G LTE support. It's molded by four 1.7 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 cores with four Cortex-A53 cores.

It's also paired with the newest Adreno 405 GPU for graphics, app DSP and Hexagon V50 modem. IT also supports the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology for a quick decease in charging time. The Snapdragon 615 can perform well and stay energy-efficient, except for 3D games and emulators.

These upcoming Android smartphones could also run Android 5.0 Lollipop with the 64-bit processor.

The latest Android 5.0 Lollipop is said to be aesthetic just like the iOS 8 with an even wider range of options for its users. One of the top advantages of Android over Apple is its ability to choose and modify.

Android 5.0 Lollipop has a new user interface called Material Design UI executed across all Google services and apps with third party app compatibility programmed by developers. It also offers the Project Volta battery tool, OpenGL ES 3.1 and Runtime.

The guest mode allows users to configure their devices to allow access only to certain data and apps when the phone is being used by anyone who does not own the device. The functionality prevents other users to change settings.
