According to a source, Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch and fiancée Sophie Hunter are reportedly expecting their first child together.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in baby carriage or it can be interchanged after all?  

The couple could've have kept the pregnancy news discreet if they weren't photographed together at the Palm Springs International last Saturday.

The glowing soon-to-be Mrs. Cumberbatch was wearing a long sleeved tribal print long dress, with a baby bump slowly showing.  

A close friend of the couple had confirmed the pregnancy and details of their pending matrimonial ceremony. 

The source has also added, "Sophie is a few months along, and both she and Benedict are very excited about it. They are also quietly planning to marry early in spring."

This also ends the speculation whether the couple will get married earlier or wait until the little one arrives on due date.

Cumberbatch has announced his engagement to Hunter last year through the newspaper, UK times. 36 year old Hunter is an actress, award winning director and also a theatre director.

He may have portrayed Jane Austen's character Mr. Darcy for charity but in real life he is quite a true blue romantic indeed.

Cumberbatch, the husband-to-be and also a father-to-be, couldn't be any more excited.

The 38 year old actor has been a little busy with his current projects this year but that won't stop him for being a "hands on" dad once the baby is born.
