Miley Cyrus' Film Pulled From NYC Film Porn Festival

Miley Cyrus' representatives pulled out the pop star's film from the NYC Porn Film Festival  after it became apparent that the festival's organizer told misleading statement, when he claimed that 22-year-old Cyrus had personally submitted her entry, New York Post can reveal.

The movie was a 3-minute erotic, bondage-heavy mini-movie called Tongue Tied.

It was found that the production company Cadence Films was misled by event organizer Simon Leahy into granting permission to use it, Cyrus reps said Tuesday.

"Miley was proud to make a film with acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Jones. She did not instigate this festival submission and is not participating in any way," said the singer's spokesperson.

An earlier statement by Leahy revealed that Cyrus actually submitted her entry to the film festival, which opens on the last week of February, after finding out about the event through mutual friends, showing emails from Cadence that allowed him to show the film.

However, the singer's representatives claimed those emails were misleading. They were told the event was a "shorts screening at the artist ran space Secret project Robot," with apparent connection whatsoever to the NYC Porn Festival site.

Leahy eventually admitted that he complied with requests from Cyrus' reps to pull out the film immediately.

Leahy also a post on Facebook, exclaiming "We got Miley!."

However, he hit Cyrus' reps and the media, slamming them for not doing any "due diligence."

"We asked to show it at the festival. Because the word porn is involved, basically the media has just sensationalized it and turned it into a click bait story," he said.

He also defended the film as an "art festival."

"Even though we're using the work porn, we're not some cheap L.A. porn award festival," he explained.

The event is sponsored by the free video site PornHub and runs from Feb. 27 until March 1 at Secret Project Robot, to promote the works of both up-and-coming and seasoned filmmakers.
