Super Junior Member Choi Si Won, who made his international acting debut in the box office hit "The Dragon Blade", reveals that he actually enjoyed his time shooting the movie in Gobi Desert, according to Xin MSN.

"I really like the desert," Si Won reveals during his interview with Xin MSN after the movie press conference in Singapore.

"There are no phone calls, you don't get bothered, the nights are beautiful, so beautiful and so scary," the K-Pop star further added.

Choi Si Won is one of the most bankable artists in Korea, there is no doubt that an escape from the busy limelight was what the Super Junior Member really needed.

"There is no electricity and you'll see just a road. On the highway in the desert, there is really no light. The only light came from my car," says Si Won, as he vividly recalled the experience of darkness in the desert when he told the driver to shut off the headlights for a while.

"And suddenly, you cannot see anything at all. And I was like, Oh man. Wow, so we are nothing.  Coz I have a religion right? So I thought I am nothing. If I have no light, then there is no purpose to live. It's very meaningful for me," Si Won further added.

Si Won's father also accompanied him during the shooting of the movie. A 'weird combination' of a father and son duo, Si Won shares that they both carry a walkie talkie, in order to communicate from time to time.

"It was a good experience. Good memories. I'm really appreciative to Mr. Jackie Chan. My father and Mr. Jackie Chan love each other and they had a good time together," says Si Won, sharing his father's first time experience to see his son on the set working.

Si Won also shared his father's bloopers on the set, with a hint of embarrassment.

Si Won's father asked his son in the set, "Who's that big nose guy?"

"I'm like, Dad please, that's Adrien Brody," says the K-Pop star, while re-enacting his dad's deeper voice in a comedic way.

He also shares his dad's experience of mistakenly identifying an old man working as an extra actor as Anthony Hopkins.

Working with two Hollywood stars, John Cusack and Adrien Brody, there is no doubt that Si Won felt a little conscious about how he would deliver his lines in English as a Korean.

"This is my first time working with a Hollywood star and you know, their mother tongue is in English right? I'm an Asian, A Korean," says Si Won.

The Super Junior member asked co-star Adrien Brody about his pronunciation, whether it was good or not and if it bothered him.

"No worries, you're from the Han Dynasty. No matter what, it doesn't matter. You're not in Rome," this was Brody's witty reply, in response to Si Won's query.

For Si Won, the 'Dragon Blade' movie is just the beginning of a very busy year. With three movies and two dramas slated for release in China, Hong Kong and Singapore, Si Won definitely has a lot on his belt.
