The notorious executioner from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) known as "Jihadi John" apologized to his family shortly after his real identity, which is Mohammed Emwazi, was revealed.

According to reports, the Kuwait-born Emwazi apologized for bringing shame to his family. He is the man seen most of the time in the videos uploaded by the ISIS whenever they behead the soldiers, journalists, or other people they have held in captivity.

Emwazi, a computer-science graduate from Britain, reportedly apologized to his family via a third party, telling his family that the revelation of his identity in February might have caused them to go into hiding. His family, who flew from Londo to Kuwait, is currently under a 24-hour security.

His father, Jasem Emwazi, told a friend of his son that "Jihadi John" is an animal and a terrorist whose actions brought catastrophe to the family. Jasem no longer goes to the mosque to pray because he is ashamed of his son.

However, the third party who gave the message noted that the 26-year-old ISIS militant has not expressed remorse for the beheadings he took part in despite his father's message to him.

This is not the first time that Emwazi was involved in a crime as back in 2009, he claimed that he was interrogated and threatened while in Tanzania. Reports say otherwise as he was not allowed in the area because he brought chaos to the airport and was under the influence of alcohol.

Emwazi was reportedly in Tanzania on vacation that time and had wanted to have a safari holiday but was barred from doing so due to his behavior.
