Rossi, who has a lot of great memories racing in Catalunya circuit, thinks it's hard to go fast on this particular race track, albeit he just rode one of his best races there last year and is currently enjoying a revival run this year..

Currently on top of the Championship Standings since his incredible opening round at Losail in Qatar, Rossi is facing a daunting task in this weekend's Grand Prix at Catalunya as he faced again his teammate, the in-form Jorge Lorenzo, who is now just trailing him by 6 pts in the Championship Standings.

Regardless of what happened at the last race in Mugello two weeks ago, Andrea Doviozioso is still trying to get his first win aboard the Gp15 with 5 podium finishes this season. With Ducati Corse running well as of late, Dovi has a lot of reasons to continue his quest for his first Premier Class victory.

On the other hand, Reigning Champion Marc Marquez is still licking his wounds after crashing out in the last race at Mugello. Nevertheless, Marquez remains undeterred that he will improve the bike and try to find the limit of the Rc123v. Marquez also said they were getting closer and closer as they already find a solution to the machine current problems this year.

With his home race in Catalunya slated this weekend, Marquez still has a solid shot at retaining the title despite a huge 49 point deficit behind the leader. Both Rossi and Lorenzo agreed that Marquez still has a lot of chances to catch up with plenty of races left in the season.

In 2006, Rossi nearly pulled off a great comeback after trailing the leader 51 points until disaster struck in the last race. Lorenzo also put up a good fight to Marc until the last race at Valencia in 2013.
