It looks like new details for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" have been revealed regarding the Joker and Robin theory and Henry Cavill revealing the Man of Steel's true weakness.

According to ComicBook, a fan made theory from a Reddit user speculated that Jared Leto's Joker in the DC Extended Universe is actually Batman's sidekick Robin, as fans were thinking that the Boy Wonder did not actually die before the events of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice"; however, was transformed into the Clown Prince of Crime.

The theory started when the Reddit user compared the photo of the Joker and Robin's costume in "Batman V Superman" trailer, and noticed the puncture wounds that were found in the Joker's shoulders are the same as the one found in Robin's vandalized outfit. The website noted that although a small detail could let alone support a massive theory like this, it does indeed make a lot of sense.

Moviepilot further adds that both scars are not simply a coincidence, but instead, a proof at some point that Robin became the Joker. There have been two instances in the DC comics that a Robin was turned into the Joker.

The first was is in the animated film, "Batman Beyond: Return of The Joker" wherein Tim Drake at the time was captured by the Joker and turned into a twisted version of himself. In the future, Tim Drake is experiencing changes and as it turns out small microchip was inserted in his neck with traces of the original Joker's DNA.

The second is in Frank Miller's comic book storyline "Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again," wherein Dick Grayson became a super powered deranged version of the Joker. In this version, he is angry and embittered at Batman for abandoning him, leading to a murderous and psychotic path of death and destruction.

However, Den of Geek pointed out that there is a flaw in the theory. Director Zack Snyder is a comic book literalist as he revels on taking iconic moments from the comic books storylines as evidence by his film adaptation from the "Watchmen." The website points out that Robin's death (Jason Todd) was the trigger point of Bruce Wayne giving up the Batman mantle in "The Dark Knight Returns" storyline, which Ben Affleck's version of him is based on. So divulging in fan theories like this is not Snyder's cup of tea and would rathr stick by the books.

In other news, HNGN reported that Henry Cavill has pointed out several interesting things about his character Superman, namely his main weakness.

Cavill is not talking about the green Kryptonite, but rather he stated that, "the only thing that can really beat Superman is Superman."

Cavill pointed out that as powerful as he is, Clark Kent/Kal-El is still a mortal man who wants to use his powers for good. Thus, he is always second guessing his decisions and debates on which course of action is the right one. The website notes that after he was forced to kill General Zod to save an innocent family, this gave him a direct blow to the head and strives hard to make a good decision as soon as possible.

Cavill also confirmed that a lot of references from "Man of Steel" will be shown in "Batman V Superman" and some of them have already been featured in the SDCC 2015 trailer, International Business Times reported.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled to be release in cinemas on March 25, 2016.
