If you want something to make your day, you gotta watch Taylor Swift's new single "Shake It Off". It's not the usual love story kind of song and you will love her in this new video. It speaks about shaking off the negativity and it's a shout out to all her haters.

The news broke during her live stream on Yahoo and her fans are nothing but excited. She streamed her video on top of New York's Empire State Building and made her announcements. Swift started saying that she has three big surprises for those who were there with her and she started to play "Shake It Off". This is from her fifth album and she gave a shout out to Max Martin and Shellback who produced the video. The goal for the single was to create something which sounded like nothing like anything she has done. Kudos to Swift and to the team because they certainly ended with a great result.

She noted that the inspiration of the song came from the lessons she has learned from the years she has been in the music business. She said that people can always say whatever they want and it's something we cannot control but we could always control our reactions to those criticisms thrown at us. The second announcement was that she documented her official pop album. This is a first for the album called "1989". She said that she has been listening lately to the '80s pop and she loved how they were all taking chances and how bold they were back them. She noted that it was a time of limitless potential.

The cover art of the album was a Polaroid photo and the words "T.S. 1989" were written at the bottom. She added that the album will come with 13 photos and that the photos will differ from each copy. She also said that the secret messages will continue within the album.

Swift has been teasing about her single and her album and her fans are very happy that the clues do not end there. The album will be released on the 27^th of October.

And the last revelation was the "Swiftstakes" where she noted that it was like 'sweepstakes' and that she will be giving away 1,000 tickets plus 500 meet and greets for the next tour.
