Chelsea legend John Terry is reportedly keen on declining a rumored £20 million offer from a couple of Chinese Super League squads as he is intending to move to Qatar's Star League or the United States' Major League Soccer.

The Chelsea and English national football team captain has disclosed last month that the Blues will not give him a new contract in the summer and so he is planning an exit from Stamford Bridge and that this will be his last season with the reigning Premier League champions.

With that, three of the top teams from the CSL, namely Shanghai SIPG, Jiangsu Suning, and five-time champion Guangzhou Evergrande have all been rumored as suitors of the 35-year-old defender.

The Mirror reported that Terry "is set to snub any mega-money offers to join the Chinese revolution" even as these China clubs are keen on splashing cash this season. The report also revealed that the London, England native could join either Qatari club Al-Arabi SC or MLS teams LA Galaxy or New York City FC next season.

Terry's old Blues teammate, Gianfranco Zola, is the current head coach of Al-Arabi while another ex-teammate and friend, Frank Lampard, is suited up as a midfielder for New York City. Two more of his Chelsea teammates, forward Pierluigi Casiraghi and goalie Kevin Hitchcock, are also with Zola in Qatar.

Chelsea have insisted, however, that "talks have not finished over the possibility of a new deal for Terry but want to give the final decision to their new manager this summer".

The team is currently being handled by interim manager Guus Hiddink and several high-profile coaches are already in the list of potential replacements for Jose Mourinho, namely Massimiliano Allegri of Juventus, Antonio Conte of the Italian national team, Diego Simeone of Atletico Madrid, and Jorge Sampaoli of the Chile national team.

Terry has played his whole professional career with the Fulham residents since 1998. He had appeared in a total of 705 games in all competitions in 18 seasons for the Blues. He had scored 66 goals mainly as a center back in the said time period.
