Chinese Super League squad Beijing Guoan FC is reportedly making a renewed bid of £15 million for Crystal Palace midfielder Wilfried Zaha in the summer as their initial offer in January was rejected by the English Premier League club.

Sports Mole reported that Crystal Palace is "braced for a summer bid from" the Chinese capital city team for the 23-year-old winger after the CSL squad's speculated enquiry during the English winter transfer window fell through.

The report mentioned that the offer would be increased to £15 million (the previous bid was undisclosed), which is said to be enough to get the approval of the Eagles.

Zaha started his senior career with Crystal Palace squad back in 2010 after coming off his youth career from the same the South Norwood, London club. He stayed with the Eagles for four seasons before he was snagged by perennial Premier League powerhouse Manchester United in January of 2013.

Zaha went on to play for the Red Devils for a tumultuous one-and-a-half seasons, appearing in only two games in the England top flight, four games overall in all competitions, without any goals.

He was sent on loan by United in the next three seasons, namely to Crystal Palace, Cardiff City, and the Eagles once again in 2014-2015 prior to him being re-acquired by the Glaziers in February of last year.

The Abidjan, Ivory Coast-born Englishman found his form anew in his second stint with the Eagles, appearing in 50 games in all competitions and scoring eight times as a midfield player.

It is not clear, however, if Zaha is keen on transferring to the Imperial Guards when they call Palace in the summer, according to The Guardian, but the potential of earning the same kind of money the new China transferees such as Ramires, Jackson Martinez, and Alex Teixeira is expected to spark his interest.
