Fox News Channel host for talk show Outnumbered Stacey Dash is making waves on the Internet for straightforwardly criticizing the Oscars speech of 2016 Academy Award Best Actor Leonardo DiCaprio. The Clueless star compared DiCaprio to the folk tale character "Chicken Little," who is known for being hysterical in the belief that the world is coming to an end.

In a blog post, Dash wrote that although DiCaprio's win is well-deserved and although the movie may be good, the actor's speech was obviously planned and drafted ahead of time. Dash said that DiCaprio reminds her of "Chicken Little" who she describes as a bird which kept running around in the neighborhood and disturbing every person it meets with something either distressing or alarming.

DiCaprio's speech during his first Oscars win was mostly about the environment and the global warming. These are some of the issues and concerns that The Revenant star feels strongly about.

DiCaprio's speech emphasized the idea that climate change is something real and something that people should not take for granted. As a long-time advocate for environmental protection, DiCaprio called for everyone to support and work with national leaders to stop the procrastination and start doing something for the world's ecosystem.

These statements, however, have been contested by Dash who said that the Earth has remained how it was even before the use of cars, the use of emission, and the use of fossil fuels. She added that DiCaprio is not paying real attention to the real problems of the planet such as North Korea's nuclear tests. Dash ended her blog post by suggesting that DiCaprio starts getting his priorities straight.
