Tech experts claim that the most important part of this update are the latest security patches coming from both Google and Samsung especially during these times when hacking is rampant all over the tech community.

Lately, the South Korean tech giant Samsung has been busy sending out Android Marshmallow updates for some of its latest premium devices. Samsung rolled out some major updates not only in the US but also in South Korea, India and Europe.

In comparison, Samsung competitors like LG and HTC were quick to roll out Marshmallow updates on their respective devices. Samsung's Galaxy S6, Galaxy S5 and Note Edge line of devices have all received the Marshmallow update late last year.

In the US, Verizon was the first network to roll out the Marshmallow update for the Galaxy Note 5 device. Now that Sprint is quickly suiting up to release the update on its own network, this leaves AT&T and T-Mobile users waiting for their turn.

Sprint is yet to release the official changelog of what will be added or patched on its Marshmallow update. However, based on the features incorporated into the Marshmallow operating system, it is safe to say that update may include Google Now on Tap, a new app drawer, the new battery saving feature dubbed Doze and the new app permissions manager, according to Android Headlines.
