Rupert Murdoch's ex-wife Wendy Deng is reported to be dating Russian President Vladimir Putin, a little less than a month after she was seen getting intimate in Paris with 30-year-old professional violinist Charlie Siem, US Weekly reported.

The online magazine further said that a reliable insider who happens to be very close to Putin described their relationship as something very "serious."

Deng and Putin have constantly been linked to each other since they divorced from their previous partners - Deng from billionaire media mogul Rupert Murdoch in 2013, and Putin from linguist Lyudmila Shkrebneva in 2014. Nothing, however, was neither confirmed nor denied by both parties.

In fact, although the buzz keeps circulating the net and the media, there is no actual proof that the two have been really dating each other apart from the fact that 47-year-old Deng was seen hopping onto Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich's yacht last Monday which set sail to St. Bart's. Abramovich is a known close friend of the 63-year-old Russian president, hence the connection.

Deng has been known for her penchant towards "powerful" men beginning with Murdoch and following a rumored relationship with Britain Prime Minister Tony Blair. Blair, according to the grapevine, was the reason for Murdoch and Deng's divorce following the Internet leaks of Deng's alleged intimate diary entries on Blair.

Putin, on the other hand, ended a 30-year long marriage with Shkrebneva based on "mutual decision." He has since been linked with professional gymnast Alina Kabaeva. Reports surrounding their unproven relationship accounted that Kabaeva had given birth to Putin's child, however, the news was strongly denied by Kremlin, Russia's official government website.
