If someone is talking about 3D printer, one major manufacturer that would come to mind is the Chinese.

FlashForge, a Zhejiang Province-based producer of the device that is steadily gaining popularity these days, have attracted many visitors of the 2016 3D Print Design Show in Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.

The Chinese manufacturer brought to the exhibit, which opened on Monday, four models of their 3D printer to target various market segments as they are sold in different price-points.

In an interview with Xinhua News, FlashForge sales director Jane Liu shared that their products are "very popular in the US and Europe."

"As a matter of fact, 90 percent of our 30,000 units sold in 2015 are purchased by customers outside of China," Liu disclosed. "Our most popular model has been a bestseller on Amazon.com for two years continuously."

Referring to their Creator Pro model, the report revealed that it has been featured on Amazon's product page for the best-selling printer, wherein 80 percent of the more than 500 it got were positive.

One customer even noted that "The FlashForge Pro is a pleasure to use, but at an impressively low price. What's not to love."

When asked about their strategy towards becoming successful as a Chinese 3D printer manufacturer, Liu cited quality as their utmost strategy.

"The key to this success is our focus on quality," the sales executive stated. "We have consistently provided top-notch quality machines, which allow us to gather a substantial loyal customer base."

Of the 63 participating companies in the US trade show, more than a dozen are Chinese companies that are into the manufacturing of 3D printer.
