Xbox One Backward Compatible Games List: When Will ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ be Available?

As Microsoft continues to update the Xbox One backward compatible games list, fans have also remained optimistic about finally hearing some good news on the inclusion of "Red Dead Redemption 2."

According to Express UK, the said game has remained to be on of the most popular among the widely-requested Xbox 360 games for the Xbox One backward compatibility list.

Based on the data it has gathered, the number of requests for "Red Dead Redemption 2" has reached more than 140,000 so far. However, it failed it topple the figure recorded by "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" which has already achieved the 174,000 mark, while "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" has 159,000 requests.

Despite the game's undeniable popularity, the news outlet pointed out that there has been no word yet about its possible release.

On the other hand, Game Zone disclosed that Microsoft has just unveiled five more new game titles for its gaming console.

It noted that "Left4Dead," "Portal 2," "Babel Rising," "Flashback" and "Brain Challenge" are the newest games added to Xbox One backward compatibility list.

"'Left 4 Dead' and 'Portal 2' are coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today," Hryb, who is also known as Major Nelson of Microsoft, tweeted on Friday.

With the arrival of additional titles from time to time, the report said that Microsoft has been "steady" in updating its long list of Xbox One-playable 360 games.

Among the recently added games in the Xbox One backward compatibility list are "XCOM: Enemy Within," "Call of Duty: Black Ops" and "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed."
