The Cleveland Cavaliers have done the impossible: Not only did they win Game 7, but they did so in style, while re-writing the league's history books.

So far, the Cavs are the only team in NBA history to come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the series.

And the hero behind their amazing run?

Of course, no other than King James who decided to carry the dreams of the people of Ohio on his broad shoulders, reported the New York Times.

On Sunday night, before a roaring Golden State home crown, Lebron James used Game 7 to showcase his almost superhuman abilities, as he led the Cleveland Cavaliers to its first championship in franchise history.

When everything hanged in the balance, Lebron James kept Cleveland's championship hopes alive by  orchestrating the right plays, defending the lane, and drilling in the crucial shots.

The final score: 93-89.

"I came back for a reason," James said during the post-game interview. "I came back to bring a championship to our city."

James's performance was brilliant all throughout the night, as he pumped in 27 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to highlight one of the most remarkable individual performances by a single player in finals history.

James, who was also named the finals' most valuable player, also got solid performances from his teammates, particularly Kyrie Irving, whose 3-pointer with less than one minute remaining in Game 7 gave the Cleveland Cavaliers the lead - and the victory.

Not only did the Cavaliers rally from a 3-1 deficit to win the championship; they won against a team which many observers had already tagged as one of the greatest, If not the greatest team in NBA history with the Golden State Warriors' record-setting 73 victories this season.

With Cleveland's win, Lebron James may have silenced all the doubters - albeit temporarily - with his thunderous dunks, fadeaway jumpers, blocked shots and glowering expressions, which have made him the undisputed leader of his team.

Most importantly, The King has given ended Ohio's 52-year championship draught.

"Like I always say, every day is not a bed of roses, and you have to figure out how to get away from the thorns and the things of that nature to make the sunshine," James said.

The Cleveland Cavaliers' Game 7 win demonstrates that nothing is impossible, especially if you have a player like Lebron James who doesn't melt under pressure and delivers during crunch time.
