A two-month-old heart patient's father refuses to accept Facebook's apology for 'the inconvenience' their rejection may have caused, stating that "the damage has been done."

After reports about Facebook banning a two-month-old Hudson Bond's photo in a charity advertisement appeared in international news, the social media giant immediately backtracks and apologizes to the baby boy's family on Wednesday.

In response, Hudson's father, Kevin Bond posted about his disappointment on the Facebook page named for his son.

"Inconvenience was never an issue. Having my beautiful son compared to dismembered bodies, vampires, zombies, etcetera hurt me, and my family," he wrote citing that the post was 'time sensitive' and that reversing what has been done days after 'fixes nothing.'

Born on July 18, Hudson was diagnosed to have cardiomyopathy, which led to heart failure a week after his family took him home.

Now, only an artificial heart is extending his life while doctors and his family are seeking for a new heart that Hudson can call his own.

His father, in search for a way to seek help, opted to create a Facebook page named "Hudson's Heart" with the intention of sharing his baby boy's story and possibly finding a donor online.

However, when he tried to use the 'boost' function to increase the page's audience, Facebook sent him an email explaining why they rejected the photo and describing it to as "scary, gory, sensational and evokes a negative response."

According to a Facebook representative, the email sent to Bond was an 'automated generic response' made 'in error by its system.'

The representative told Bond through a phone call on Wednesday that they are working out a way to compensate their inconvenience and even offered a free ad.

Bond stated that though the direct call to him helped ease some of his anger. However, he still felt upset about the automated rejection response's wording describing it as "outrageous" and "sickening."
